DMCC Al Mas Tower Dubai, UAE
Al Mas Tower, being designed by Atkins, the renowned engineering and design consultancy firm, is to form a focal point of the Jumeirah Lakes development. The project is visualized as a landmark address to reflect the aspirations and importance of DMCC (Dubai Metals and Commodities Centre).
The office development is to consist of two intersecting elliptically shaped towers on a sculptured 3-storey podium. The taller tower will be 340 m high and have 65 storeys above ground and the smaller tower will be 240 m high with 54 storeys above ground. There will be 4 basement levels containing car parks and plant / equipment rooms. The development site is circular in form and 140 m in diameter and to be surrounded by lakes on one axis and the main road on the other axis.
The Client’s aspiration is to develop a prestigious “luxury” high-rise office to include a state-of-the-art Diamond Exchange and a landmark centre for the trade of diamonds and precious metals.
PMK International is currently providing acoustic consulting services for the preliminary (shell and core) design stage of this project.
